Additional Information

Purple hurricane, by an Australian artist Marina Strijakova – depicting Japanese anemons in full bloom.

This original oil on canvas painting is a part of “Colours of My Garden” collection. This artwork looks particularly impressive when displayed together with other artworks from this collection: the paintings are of the same size, and together create a pleasing to eye composition.

Sitting glorious in the sunshine or brilliant in the shade, the Windflowers sway to the tempo of the breeze, the lustful swirl of purple, yellow and green. As they dance faster and higher, a riot they create – rustling a hurricane of hues that illuminate the landscape, a late summer glee.

Japanese anemon, one of the Eriocapitella hupehensis species, are long-lived perennial species, easy to maintain once established. Their dense flowering carpet is one of my favorites in the garden!

The canvas of this floral oil painting is stretched on a quality 38mm deep frame, sealed with varnish to enhance the lifetime, and comes signed, with a wire on the back ready for hanging.
