Additional Information

Self by Lana Alsamir-Diamond – Self is reminiscent of my Primitive Series exploration of simple shapes in very primitive lines, letting the brush do the work is how I would describe this process, there is something raw and very appealing in the imperfect lines.

Moons are a constant in my work, if you have ever watched the moon as religiously as I do, you would know that the moon has so many faces, my fascination started when I used it as a constant presence in my more figurative works, and I slowly became fascinated by the shape and the possibilities it offered to my work, it grew from a representation of the moon to a recurring motif in my work.

Love the wonderful “Terre Verte” green, and how it works with my other obsession “Prussian Blue”.

Ink, Acrylic and Gouache on hand made, natural colour, deckled edge cotton paper.

In situ images are for display purposes and may not be a true representation of size listed.

Price listed does not include framing, if you require framing please contact help@artloversaustralia.com.au
