Petrie Terrace And Milton Road by Michael Cawdrey – A recent downpour on Petrie Terrace, Brisbane. The rain was torrential for a while. I’ve always liked the little building, but this was the first time I had seen it in wet weather. With its bright red Lease sign the only cheerful note, I just had to paint it.

Original Acrylic artwork on triple-primed canvas mounted onto MDF.

This is executed on triple-primed canvas with professional quality Derivan Matisse and Liquitex Acrylics.

The canvas is mounted on 3mm MDF which is sealed on the edges and back to protect from moisture.

The painting is not ready to hang, but I can arrange framing at extra cost if required.
