‘Panda’.
‘As we pass through life our floating consciousness tries to find a yin yang balance.’
The resulting pattern looks Panda like, however the message is about how we might exist in day to day life.
This painting began as a collection of forms found on the Queensland coast. Forms found in nature possess the curves and proportions we as humans naturally resonate with….so why not use them in practice.
This arrangement reminds me of how we are constantly trying to find that harmonious balance in our minds as we live each minute of our day, weaving our way through circumstances the best we can.
The black and white areas are like Panda eyes, but also the balance of yin and yang in our minds. The wavy verticals remind me of the circumstances our minds meet with. Some earthly (brown), some spiritual (blue) and some dynamic (orange).
