These Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos are special to Angela as she raised and rehabbed them.

Both portraits were taken on their last day in Sydney with Angela, same perch spot, 4 years apart, before they flew to Western Australia to reside at Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Sanctuary.

The 2 images were composited together.

The pair are getting on really well and Opal is always looking out for Yeti, they sit on the same perch and groom each other. This image is a celebration of their union.
