OM Singing Bowl by Pooja Kaul

Original Still Life Artwork of a Singing Bowl and Cymbidium Orchids. I use this singing bowl after my daily meditation routine. Its vibrations has very relaxing effects and gets me ready for the day. I had to paint it with these lovely orchids that were gifted to me on my birthday. The silken cushion of the bowl and the mallet had to be part of this artwork. The setting and composition for this still life was done at home. Using pencil colours on board was not as simple as I thought it would be and I had to put in double the effort. But nonetheless, I was very happy with the final results. Markers were used for the background and for filling in the gaps of the wooden board.

Medium: Polychromos Pencil Colours and Permanent Markers on Wooden Board.

Ready to Hang. Framing Recommended.
