This is the second last and largest of the series “My Strange Garden.”

I have been having fun searching my imagination for funny flowers and to achieve this,I used some flourescent paints over heavy bodied acrylics. The addition of these gives the plants a rather unreal look which is the effect I was seeking.

The painting took a long time but I am happy with the result and I feel it will be the focus of any room.

This work is not for the faint hearted but rather for someone with the imagination to stretch reality a little- but I am sure it will liven up any room and perhaps attract attention and discussion.
