The numbat is highly endangered,  with numbers plummeting due to feral predators.

The Perth Zoo together with Project Numbat are carrying out a vitally important breeding
program to help reintroduce Numbats back into the wild.

I wouldn’t mind having a family living on our block, they are so appealing & cute plus a bonus
that numbats only eat termites!!.  However in the meanwhile I will settle to include them in
my artworks and to let people know of their plight.
