Morning Hairdo by Marina Strijakova

Depicting protea flower in full bloom on elaborated garden background.  This original oil on canvas painting is a part of “Colours of My Garden” collection. This artwork looks particularly impressive when displayed together with other artworks from this collection: the paintings are of the same size, and together create a pleasing to eye composition.

This particular piece of art is inspired by the protea flowers I came across in the Mount Tomah Botanic Garden, the place I love and can’t get enough of coming back to. The view of this protea flower intrigued me so much that I had the urge to portray it with my skills on the canvas. The use of dark colours along with a subtle touch of brighter ones depicts the mysteriousness I felt while I was visiting the place. This painting depicts mainly the wonders of nature that how these little intricate flowers can help in achieving peace and can calm the nerves of a person while being mysterious in their own self.

The canvas of this floral oil painting is stretched on a quality 38mm deep frame, sealed with varnish to enhance the lifetime, and comes signed, with a wire on the back ready for hanging.
