The tastiest breakfast you’ll never eat! The longest time in coming around, this piece was started at the beginning of lockdown, when the best painting inspiration I could see, was right in front of my eyes, on my very own plate. If painting breakfast was good enough for the Old Masters, then it’s good enough for me! Giving the style an updated look involved playing with my usual colour saturation, and a bit of a pop art twist in there as well. A painting so good you could eat it, but don’t, really don’t.
