Life – Loving it; I came across an international photographer whose work I felt really struck the nail on the head in terms of conveying feeling and emotion in his images. I liked this image particularly and sought permission to reference as a painting. The title is mine and I’ve changed some elements to transition the original photograph into a painting that I hope creates it’s own projection of ‘I’ve got it all under control and life is cool’ – I have it hanging in my studio and I know whenever I look at it, it has an instant calming effect.
