Life Cycle of a Dainty Swallowtail Butterfly – Limited Edition Print on canvas by Nadya Neklioudova.
Stretched and ready to hang. Archival inks on 300GSM poly-cotton canvas.

Signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity. This is number 1 of 100.

The Dainty Swallowtail (other name Dingy Swallowtail, scientific name Papilio anactus) butterfly is a regular visitor to my garden. This native Australian butterfly loves citrus plants, and is illustrated just the way I found it in my garden – on a native Finger Lime bush.
I managed to get a reference photo of 3 stages of its life cycle together in one shot (caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly) which inspired this detailed life cycle painting.  You can see by the close-up images how much time and care went into faithfully painting tiny details of the butterflies and surrounding plants. If you look closely, the butterfly eggs are there too – completing, and continuing, the life cycle.
This giclee print will arrive ready to hang (*if shipped within Australia – rolled in tube if shipped overseas). Manufactured in Brisbane, Australia.

Please allow 7-10 business days for production of your canvas print.

ADD A FLOATING FRAME – extra $70 AUD.
Colours available: black, white, natural (medium wood tone), oak (light wood tone).
Overall dimensions including the frame will increase to 64 x 45 cm approx.

(* framing options do not apply to overseas orders as canvas will be shipped rolled in tube only.)
