Katherine Gorge Rock Face

On a recent holiday to Uluru we travelled slowly along the calm waters of Katherine Gorge located in the Nitmuluk National Park, Northern Territory. This aboriginal spiritual place with its ever changing ancient cliff faces, green vegetation against the red, brown and ochre rocks was a breathtaking experience.  The still water dotted with birdlife, fresh water crocodiles and fish were the only movement against the clear marbling water reflections.

These magnificent sculptured rock faces provided me with an abundance of compositions for future drawings and paintings.  Using  Archers paper, I combined the use of fine ink pen with watercolour to provided more tonal depth to this realism painting.

Framed and signed on the bottom right hand corner of the painting.

Gallery specification framing using high quality glass and a contemporary boxed charcoal brown timber frame with a surround of a 9cm white mount.

Ready to hang with D Rings and wire attached at back.

Packed by Professional Courier specialising in artwork delivery to your door for signature.

Professional Giclee prints on Canson Edition Etching Fine Art Paper or canvas will be available through Art Lovers Australia with your specific custom size on request.
