This piece came alive through my waste-not collection of high quality Belgian heavy-weight linen off-cuts. I’m super stoked about Jamberoo Valley as it has become one of my favourite “off-cut” paintings. I have a background in fashion design and textiles and am always keen to experiment with fabrics and paints. I prepped the canvas by stitching extra pieces of fabric along key regions, which I later painted over. This helped to add depth and shadows to certain areas of Jamberoo Valley.
Jamberoo Valley may be small in dimension 51cm (W) x 47.5cm (H) but it comes with a solid hand-made oak frame. Built to last but heavy for shipping, local purchase is recommended, so I can deliver it to your home.
