Additional Information

I have really enjoyed working with my oil paints, painting clouds and the vast Australian landscape, introducing a solitary tree or a forgotten road, but I found I really needed to get a little happy colour back in my work, so I have moved back into some exciting watercolours.
I recently placed an order for some incredible paper from overseas. This particular paper is 1200 gsm, which is a really heavy weight and thick paper – you could use it as wallpaper! So this paper is made in India, by hand, shipped to England and then onto Australia – how exciting! It has taken a while to experiment with it and find out the best way to use this amazing surface – so here we are a new series of works, using my new paper with collage elements and the garden as my inspiration, especially the spiky weird plants that are just so much fun to paint. Spiky weird plants come in a close second to my all time favourite flower to paint Queen Anne Lace.
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist quality pigments.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
