Ice Cream Scoup by Susanne Bianchi.
This piece is one of my Ice Cream Series. Nothing is more ‘Summer’, more decadent or delectable as cool luscious Ice Cream, yummy.
The colours I have used are light and refreshing; cool blues, soft minty greens and creamy white which have been balanced with soft warm yellow, sugary mauve and a dash of tangy orange.
Ample mark making and numerous layers of under colour has been used to build up depth. Texture and pattern were also used in my process to generate an interesting composition, but my overall aim was to create an artwork that was happy, bright and full of cool fun; sure to jazz up any room in the house.
