Additional Information

The inspiration for this original painting is a house we built near the sea. The title was inspired by French philosopher Gaston Bachelard who noted: “… the house is one of the greatest powers of integration for the thoughts, memories and dreams of mankind.  The binding principle in this integration is the daydream … Without [the house] man would be a dispersed being”.  The painting is on unframed canvas with painted edges.
