Additional Information

‘Got to move on’ an acrylic large artwork by Marijke Lambregtse is initially inspired by the word ‘Sparse’. It’s an abstract-impressionistic conceptual artwork and basically has a similar concept to my earlier painting Forever Blue.
The meaning of Sparse comes from the Latin word Sparsus, Spargere (scattered); Sparse (widely spaced or thinly dispersed). Trees, forests, and land is now becoming more and more sparse. Although we know forests and trees are our life saviors for the future we still cut them down with incredible speed.
This very often plays a part in my artwork.
There’s some eco grief about it. “Ecological grief – the mourning that takes place when we lose parts of the natural world – is likely to affect more of us in the future” (TheConversation.com).

large original acrylic abstract/impressionistic painting by Marijke Lambregtse on quality stretced canvas, ready to hang and signed on the back.
Besides being a lovely colorful piece for your wall it’s also a very busy, full-of-life artwork, which I hope will make people sit down and wonder what this vibrant piece of art is all about and will become a starting point for conversation and discussions.
