Additional Information

Flanagan’s View no 2 by Rachel Prince – There are three paintings in this series and they were all painted en plein air while I was camping over Easter. I’ve done a lot of outdoors painting but not for quite some time and I LOVED it. I’m definitely doing more of that! I did a lot of it at University when I studied a BA in Visual Arts but clearly need to do more!

It was such a beautiful landscape with so many lush trees, big tall rock crop mountains in the background and a very fast (!) running creek as there has been quite a bit of rain of late.

What’s interesting is, I painted these paintings individually but when I was finished and placed them next to each other to photograph they all connected! The lines of the mountains all lined up. Happy coincidence!
