Fishing Floats Tangle – Print is a treasure of the sea. These floats were discovered in a discarded pile, at the front of a shed in a small cray fishing town on the West Coast of Western Australia. I created a layering of texture and paint to portray the well used life of the floats. The artwork has loads of depth and transition of colours. Close up, the painting has a feeling of being an authentic used fishing float. The bright colours and worn nature are what attracts me to the floats.
