Finally the Photo Booth Man (Amelie Series) by Kerry Inkster

I work from found and created photographs – this image was taken from a film still of the French Film, “Amelie”. I was taken by the movement in the background and the flickering/distortion of the face.
When looking for a backdrop to best display this piece it looked amazing and could honestly fit almost every possible room so long as it could physically fit!
In this painting I’ve used high quality artist acrylics and mediums. As with most of my paintings I personally mount it on an “inbuilt” frame and then paint the painting as the frame and board as one unit. Thus the painting is ready to hang as soon as it dries. As this is a semi-large piece I recommend hanging it directly from the two D rings that I supply on the back of the painting, not from a wire. Noting that the painting mount is made of wood and is subject to environmental influences such as humidity which may create short term movement in the board/mount hence why I recommend 2 to 4 hooks holding the painting directly to the wall. Signed on the back
