Additional Information

I made an enquiry on the decline of bug life after noticing less moths/insects flying around my porch lights last summer and into headlights. Compared to ten years ago, I could see a decline has happened. In a zoom forum it was said that wildlife and bug-life is thriving in European countries and elsewhere in the world, why is Australian wildlife on the decline? Insects are necessary to thriving ecological systems.

Gross over-development of Australian lands has seen the decimation of wildlife. Bushfires have contributed further to the problem.

‘Eaten Structures’, a collage of insect-eaten papers combined with man-made papers informs about development taking over natural habitats. As protest to what corporations are doing to our land in Australia, the structures in the collage are being broken down and reclaimed by nature.
I collaborated with bugs by placing papers in the garden for them to nibble on for 3 weeks.

Yes this artwork is framed already in a black wood frame, with white matt and is ready for hanging.
