Additional Information

Eastern Rosella by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting using quality paints on Saunders Waterford 300gsm CP paper. The size of the painting is 28cm x 38cm it requires framing and includes a certificate of authenticity.

The above photo of the framed painting is a possible scenario, but only you will know what looks best in your home!

I rarely see the Eastern Rosella in our coastal area these days, but saw several on our recent trip inland to the beautiful Riverina. They are a magnificent parrot native to south-eastern Australia and Tasmania. These parrots are extremely colourful with a vast array of hues to their plumage. Colours include different shades of blue, green, yellow, red, white, black and grey! This stunning parrot was sitting on a branch with his head tucked in, and I decided to paint him just the way he was! They are one of my favourite parrots!

There are three paintings in this mini-series of Australian parrots.

I love to paint all things to do with nature, in particular birds.
