Dream Will Never Die – Blue Irises

By HSIN LIN

21/07/2020

40.6 x 50.8 X 1.5 cm

Acrylic on Acid free Gesso primed Canvas.

Side panels painted Blue.

D-rings and wire attached at the back.

Signed at front and ready to hang.

Affirmation: Focus on hope, above and below.

Blue irises symbolize faith, wisdom, courage, admiration and hope.

With striking colours and beauty, irises have rich meanings.

When the bloom given as gifts, they can convey deep sentiments.

The name came from the ancient Greek Goddess – Iris, the messenger of the gods and the personification of the rainbow, who acted as the link between heaven and earth.

This artwork is painted during the lock down. Inspired by the beautiful Irises that I spotted in Alfred Nicholas Gardens in the Dandenong Ranges a while ago.

The flowers bloom gloriously during the cold winter, I observed the flower closely with a light heart in a quiet cloudy afternoon.

A special lockdown diary that I wrote with my paint brushes. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork.
