This canvas wall art piece titled ‘Doona’ was originally created and designed from a photograph for a mix of colour, light and composition. The original photograph was taken from an early  photo  afternoon shoot. The image was then printed, reviewed and adjusted by hand and technology for the best visual display of colour and composition.

I have always had a passion for photography and nature. The photo was taken around 4:00pm. The sun was beginning to slowly set and the lighting was just about right to capture this image. This particular group of flowers stood out amongst the others came together beautifully for a potential work of art. The garden bed was near a local day care centre. I downloaded the photographs to the computer and began my creative journey with the various graphics programs. The reason I decided to call this particular print ‘Doona’ is because of the way the flowers colours blended into each other and I was able to bring these to life in the image.
