For this painting I was thinking of floral displays that department stores would showcase in the springtime. I always enjoyed having a quick wander around to enjoy the elaborate arrangements and perhaps help myself to little perfume sample or two. With a nod to art nouveau design, I combined the stained glass windows and the flowers together for a more subdued welcome to spring this year.
100% Natural Cotton Duck with deep edge Baltic Pine Frame.
Finished with a matt varnish and painting extends to the sides as seen in the additional photo.
