This canvas wall art piece titled ‘CapteVate’ was originally created and designed from a photograph for an intense explosion of colour and creativity. The original photograph was taken from a neighbourhood front garden. The image was then printed, reviewed and adjusted by hand for the best visual display of colour and composition.
I have always had a passion for photography and nature. The photo was taken around 5:00am just after taking some photo’s of the sun rising. The sun was beginning to appear and the lighting was just about right to capture this image. This particular plant that I was planning on including in the photograph came together beautifully and I could see the composition and potential for a beautiful work of art. Eventually the sun had rien enough to have a right lighting on the garden which made for some lovely pictures. I downloaded the photos to the computer and began my creative journey with the various graphics programs. The reason I decided to call this particular print ‘CapteVate’ is because of the way the lighting came across the plant and the colours I was able to bring to life in the image.
