This small figurative sculpture is a humorous look at the idea of perfection of the female form.  It reflects my sense of fun and enjoyment when working with clay. In making this piece I have chosen Terracotta clay for its rich, red earth tones reflecting the colours of the Australian Bush.

On my walks through the bush I collect small nuts and seeds which have fallen to the floor.  I then take them back to my studio and make moulds from these treasures.

The female form is then adorned and constructed from individually moulded and applied nuts and seeds.
