“If it isn’t broken, then break it”.

Breaking free of stress and music as release are the main themes behind this piece. Music is one of the things I find most inspiring, I am constantly craving new music and always listening to something. Favourite lyrics often make an appearance in my work. Loads of layers, some screen printed directly onto the board, some painted combine to create this busy colourful artwork.

The piece is on a primed Painting Board which are made from a smooth blonde coloured plywood panel with pine bracing ensuring a strong and warp resistant painting support. It has a wire at the back, painted edges & is ready to hang. 2 coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork & the gloss finish really brings out the detail in the work.
