Black Beach by Lisa Humphrey – A play around to see what type of colours I could bring to my beach paintings. Black is one of those paints that I rarely use anymore. Its too dark and bold, but when used lightly it brings a different dept to my little whimsical beach paintings.

There were many different opinions on my social media pages, which way was this painting should hang?? I still like it the way it is presented here, but I have signed the back so that you can hang which ever way you feel looks best in your home!

The camera doesn’t capture the colour as well as it should. The ocean is a beautiful greenish blue turquoise. The sand has some pearl paint mixed in and can be seen shimmering away in the sun.
The ocean was created using acrylic inks. Acrylic paints used the complete the painting with little people going about their summer afternoon.

Colours may vary from computer screen to screen.

RECYCLED CARDBOARD USED!!!
I always try and use pre-used cardboard when packaging up my paintings.
“1 tonne of paper recycled saves almost 13 trees, 2.5 barrels of oil, 4100kWh of electricity and 4 cubic meters of landfill. ”
Please try and recycle my cardboard once your package arrives. Together we can slowly make a difference.
