Beautiful Destruction

Inspiration

I’m fascinated by the supernova, the moment when a star explodes and blasts matter in all different directions. These blasts create much of the material in our universe. As a result, they also create enriching elements which actually help with new star formation.
That being the case, I’m reminded of the rapid regeneration that we see after bush fires. Under those circumstances, the fire actually stimulates growth and therefore the landscape recovers surprisingly fast.
In short, I’m intrigued by this natural process of huge and violent destruction leading to new life. Therefore, that’s what I’ve chosen to explore in this artwork.

Description

To create this artwork, I used quality acrylic paint on a stretched thick-profile canvas. In addition, I have coated the painting in a waterproof satin varnish. This ensures protection for the artwork over time.
And finally, for convenience, I package and ship my artworks ready to hang.
