Beach Vibes by Susanne Bianchi.
Abstract art is not “about nothing”. At its basis, it is about form, color, line, texture, pattern, composition and process. These are the formal qualities of artwork, because they describe what the art looks like and how it is created. Abstract art is an exploration of these formal qualities.
I always listen to music as I paint. When working on this piece, I was enjoying a mix of 1960 music on Spotify. A Beach Boys song Good Vibrations provided the name for this piece, hence the title Beach Vibes.
Large swathes of warm yellow and cerulean blue are nterspersed withwhite, grey, black and soft tan. The colours together make a happy mix on the canvas. It art work reminds us of carefree times when we were young. Days spent at the beach surfing and listening to music.
Artwork is finished ith a gloss finish and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
