Bay View – This large acrylic painting is an original scene with textured grasses and wildflowers seen in the foreground, and a vista of the bay and distant hills behind.  It is in portrait format and is a peaceful, reflective painting of nature that provides serenity and beauty.

The inspiration for this came to me when we visited Nairn in the north of Scotland where there is so much beauty  with a plethora of clouds, mists, sunlight and water providing plenty of variety to peaceful landscapes.    Grasses and wildflowers in foreground and sea and hills in the background.  The textures of the grasses and wildflowers are in contrast to the white sands and peaceful bay and sky in this tranquil scene.

The deep sides are painted in blue black and the painting is signed both in the front and on the back.   There is a hanging  wire and D rings so the painting is ready to hang.
