‘Áutumn Thoughts’ by Sharyn Talbot is an original drawing in charcoal with the addition of colour in conte pencil. The artwork was created specifically for an exhibition of artwork produced by women artists. This piece is a continuation of my work with charcoal and the use of colour.
The exhibition theme was ‘Cornucopia’ the symbol of abundance. Given this underlying meaning, I chose to depict a beautiful woman with an abundance of colourful thoughts. I decided to include the addition of leaves to depict the array or abundance of falling thoughts. Due to the colour used, I interpreted them as being autumn hues, and hence the title AutumnThoughts. The artwork comes with a black matboard ready for framing in your selected style.
Size 50cm x 40cm Size (including matboard) is 60cm x50cm. Drawing is supplied with both mattboard and backing board for protection.
