Having been involved in suppling art on The Block since 2019, we have enjoyed showcasing many of our artists to wider audience and seen their creative careers benefit from the exposure.
As a number of the originals are hanging in the lovely Block homes, exclusive limited edition prints are available for those that loved what they saw and want the same. Gold Coast artist Kylie Daniel’s stunning big artwork was selected by Steph & Gian for their Master Bedroom reveal. This room went on to win Room of The Week with the public commenting it could very well be the best master bedroom in Block history.

For the 2nd year in a row, Victorian artist Michael Wolfe’s artworks featured prominently on The Block, and as always caught the judges attention as they made their rounds for judging. His abstracted landscapes are popular with our collectors, making him a very much sought after, top selling artist on Art Lovers Australia.

Brisbane based artist Rebecca Lam has always been about transferring emotions and stories in the simplest ways without words. Her use of simple lines to depict the human form with a highly textured application of paint creates artworks with real feeling.

Kim Rees is an artist who describes her art practice as a “constantly evolving experiment and work in progress.” Her recent series of ceramic works beautifully capture the human body. Leslie from The Block loved them so much she used 2 of Kim’s works in her Master Bedroom styling.

Top selling Melbourne artist Martin Breeze’s large, flamboyant, energetic, abstract paintings made the judges stop and take notice on this year’s Block. Neale Whitaker describing Martin’s artwork Champ de Mars as “magnificent” when he saw it as part of Eliza and Liberty’s Living/Dining styling.

Summer Sands by ANGELA ROSKELL
Kristy & Brett | The Block 2023
Taking her inspiration from the diverse and spectacular scenery that Australian landscapes have to offer. Gold Coast artist Angela Roskell is best known for her large, free flowing acrylic abstracts and use of robust Earthy-toned bases together with striking contrasting colours. Popular with our collectors, her earthy, natural artwork sat beautifully as part of Kristy’s styling for her Living Room on The Block this season.

When Steph dropped by our Collingwood Gallery for a bit of art shopping, the television cameras couldn’t help but capture the vibrant and colourful abstract paintings of Charlotte De Pace.
Charlotte’s artistic practice is driven by a desire to find and express a brighter side of life. Aware of the emotive power of colour and harmonious composition, she embraces a vibrant palette and finds inspiration in nature, distilling it to its purest forms to create abstract compositions.
