Simon O’Dwyer spent 22 years working at the forefront of Australian journalism for Fairfax Media – The Age Newspaper and Sydney Morning Herald. Journalism gave him the opportunity to travel extensively throughout his own country and also explore the many cultures that make up this unique world.

“Whether embedded with Australian soldiers in Afghanistan to living in Traditional Black tents with Tibetans on the Plateau or organising a camel race behind the Pyramids in Giza, or sitting on the edge of Cliffs along the Great Ocean Road photographing under moonlight, my subject matter is rich and diverse in it’s story-telling”.

Growing up by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, O’Dwyer now spends his time working on his landscapes and fine-art projects, which he sells to private collections throughout Australia. He is a multi award-winning photographer whose works are housed in the permanent collections of The National Library Of Australia, State Library of Victoria, Monash Gallery of Art, Warrnambool Fine Art Gallery. His work has been published widely and twice exhibited in The National Gallery of Victoria.
