Inspired by her passion for Mid Century design, Shana’s works celebrate function, form and a touch of whimsy.
Shana currently enjoys working with acrylics, ink, block printing, watercolour and mixed media.

Paintings, prints and patterns are created with the intention to evoke joyful memories and are inspired by her passion for Mid Century design. Shana’s artworks are created with bold emotive colour and vibrant modernist style.
Growing up in a family of artists nurtured Shana to become a maker and work with colour across a variety of media. From an early age, she enjoyed handmade fibre art, ceramics, painting and craft.
Nostalgic sensibility and a touch of whimsy often feature in original paintings, limited edition archival prints and homewares. Circles, arches, organic lines and lunar themes feature in a majority of her work, indigo line-works her signature.
A keen photographer, Shana enjoys capturing local beach views, nature and modernist architecture in her hometown Sydney.
Shana enjoys collaborating with like-minded makers – recent artworks have been licensed for wallpaper, rugs, textile collections (NYFW A/W), fashion, accessories and public art. Shana’s work has been included in ‘Pattern Pulse’ a coffee table book featuring 100 Australian Surface Designers, their studies, practices and histories, published in Oct 2020.
Shana has exhibited locally and internationally, with artworks featured on Selling Houses Australia (2020) – Foxtel’s number one rating home renovation show and House Rules High Stakes (2020) on Channel 7.

Shana’s artwork has been commissioned for Public Art spaces including a traffic light signal box for Canada Bay Council in 2017 and for the feature artwork in Lane Cove Council’s ‘Sunset in the Village’ Summer 2022 festival.
