My work is mainly two-dimensional. I am exploring weirdness and Australian culture through my art during lockdown at the moment.
I studied fine art painting in the mid to late 1970s in Victoria, and then sculpture in NSW in the early 1980s. My work has changed with my life experiences and it is not hard to see the connection between my life and what I was producing, art-wise, at each stage. The weirdness of Covid 19 and not being able to get out into nature as much as I like to, or meet friends for a coffee, has sparked an interest in painting weird topics.
