I am a resin and multimedia artist. I draw my inspiration from my environment and am constantly inspired by Mother Nature. I explore the concept of the ocean through organic movement and fluidity. My work reveals an intuitive approach with fluid compositions, particularly suggestive of ocean-like forms that explore the interactions between the shallow and the deep. My layered works convey the ambiguity and complexity of my local environment.
Creating artwork has allowed me to explore dynamic colours, organic movement and and fluidity.
I also create custom artworks and aim to bring a sense of ‘calm’ into your home.
Artworks: 1
Art has always taken priority throughout my life.
Although a threat to the hair-raising ATAR score during VCE, I prioritised my arts subjects. During my university course, I changed my majors from science to art, erasing a whole year of work.
Even after completing a teaching degree, I currently, am working within the arts as a creative. Art is usually an escape to most, however it is my reality – or at least I have forced it to be.
Creating artwork has allowed me to better understand my environment, both physically and mentally. I do this through exploring dynamic colours, organic movement and and fluidity.
I draw my inspiration from my environment and am constantly inspired by Mother Nature. My abstract work reveals an intuitive approach with fluid compositions, particularly suggestive of ocean-like forms that explore the interactions between the shallow and the deep. My layered works convey the ambiguity and complexity of my environments, with the intention to invite wonder and fantasy to my audience.
I am particularly interested in exploring the human interaction with abstract concepts such as dreams and emotions – a space in which we will never understand or illustrate with full accuracy but perhaps we can try.
