A deep visual knowledge of floral form and organic line have developed throughout my many beautiful years as a Florist. I began to explore colour with intensity and interest and paintings emerged in vivid and playful and then dark and explorative palettes.
Colour, natural formation and line are the fundamental elements that flow through my work. I explore my natural surroundings of the Mid North Coast of NSW with particular interest in flora and native trees and forests. Florists instincts merge with adoration of the Australian landscape and Smokey toned paintings lush with colour and layers emerge.
