I am a mixed media artist based in Perth, Western Australia and I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. I attended art classes from the ages 8 through 20 and I knew that art was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. There was not a medium I didn’t enjoy working with whether it be chalk pastels, watercolours, acrylics and oils with a focus on realism.
In 2017 I discovered a love of abstract art and alcohol inks and this is where I began to teach myself this new style of art through trial and error . There is a certain freedom and release of control that comes with working with alcohol inks and it quickly became my passion.
My artworks can vary between being very detailed with a focus on creating very defined ripples throughout the whole piece or being very fluid, with a delicate transition of colours. My style is always evolving as I find different ways to express myself through my art.
