With an art career spanning three decades, Katherine Boland works across the disciplines of painting, photography and digital media. After living through the 2019/20 bushfires, which devastated her region on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, she was compelled to make art with fire itself to raise awareness about climate change. Katherine has been the recipient of numerous art prizes, grants and scholarships and was awarded the Heysen Art Prize for Interpretation of Place in 2009.
