Artist and Art Educator who has developed an appreciation for Naive Art after many years of study/teaching and being exposed to all aspects of Art. During this time I explored and experimented with this whimsical and charming form of Art, and hence developing my own Naive style. I am visually stimulated by the natural beauty that surrounds me and form a relationship with my immediate environment, the land, homes, landscape, nature, and animals. My Art can also be viewed as Expressive Abstract with a strong focus on pattern, shape, colour, design and composition which is often executed in a playful way with a sense of joy.

I am a mixed media Artist and Art Educator that lives in the hills of Perth W.A.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Diploma of Art and Design and a Post Graduate of Secondary Education. My Art is inspired from my local environment and nature as a whole. My subject matter explores houses, birds, animals, nature, flowers and the landscape. My style of art is best described as Abstract Expressionism and Naive Art, it has a strong focus on colour, shape, texture, patterning and composition. I make a conscious effort to not formalise my work but rather to stylise it and engage my inner child.
