My interest in painting began when, in my final year at boarding school, Toowoomba Qld, I chose to study art. Initially, working with acrylics, however, after joining a local art group I discovered the rewarding medium of oils.
In 2010, after a hiatus of twenty years I felt the need to resume creative avenues. Over the past few years, through experimentation, I have arrived at a style I feel comfortable with.

Listening to music of all genres relaxes me in mind and soul when I paint, is very much a reflection of the kind of work I create.
