Jeffrey commenced his painting when he travelled to live in a hippie commune in 1968 in Berkeley California, chasing The Summer Of Love.
From there he hitched all over Europe, then from New York to Panama and Peru.
In Guatemala he paddled down the Rio de la Passion, visiting the indigenous people from his $20, 20 foot dug-out canoe.
Returning to Australia in 1980, he built a Bali-style village studio in the bush at Tamborine.
Now painting-life is at his Auchenflower studio in Brisbane.
He paints about the joy, the deliciousness, the unusual, comedy in life, and is always seeking wisdom.
