About Greer Pollard

My inspiration comes from whatever is around me that catches my imagination. For example my daughters funny chicken, Rosemary, or an interesting tree in the local park. I live in the hills so there is always lots of wildlife around….possums, quendas, red tailed cockatoos, galahs plus many beautiful trees and flowering plants. I also love collecting images from around Augusta and Denmark in the state’s south west.

I originally studied art and design in London and worked as a graphic designer in England and Perth. I then became a teacher but continued to paint in a limited fashion. In the past couple of years I have rekindled my interest in painting and drawing. I have moved from acrylics to watercolours and now pen and ink. I paint on watercolour paper and canvas.
