Faina’s work is intuitive and whimsical. She explores a broad range of colours in her work. Having a health background and having facilitated art classes within mental health settings, she is aware of the impact of art on mental health and that is reflected in her work. She views art as a therapeutic tool and something that can brighten people’s lives. She incorporates the concept of “flow” in many of her works. Flow in positive psychology is a state of being completely immersed in what you are doing. The idea of flow is apparent in her work, providing an immersive experience for the viewer.
