Christine Hyde is an award winning, contemporary visual artist creating in her bush studio in the scenic World Heritage Blue Mountains, NSW. Christine paints landscapes and dreamscapes in an impressionist, expressive style and often takes inspiration from her local region and its seasons.

Christine paints landscapes and dreamscapes of nature reimagined, in the impressionist expressive style and takes inspiration from her local landscapes and their seasons. Her work hangs in private collections in France, the United Kingdom and around Australia.
Christine paints in most mediums and most recently her works display her love of intense archival quality inks which she applies to various substrates including paper, canvas, timbers and Yupo.
Over the last few years Christine’s solo exhibitions have been held in prestigious Fine Art Galleries and National Trust properties in the Blue Mountains. She has been the recipient of “highly commended”, “1st prize, Open Section” and “Peoples’ Choice” awards at group Art exhibitions. Christine is an active member of Blackheath and Nepean Art Societies and a contributing artist at the Hare St.Gallery. Christine also conducts art classes and workshops in her studio.
