April 2020 – Carley became a featured Artist on popular Channel 7 TV hit show ‘House Rules 2020’
February 2020 Carley became Artist in Residence at the Butterfactory Arts Centre, Cooroy.
January 2020 saw Carley exhibiting in her first group exhibition 40 under 40 where 3 works were selected.
January 2020 also became the month that Artwork ‘Jungle Tropics’ made the shortlist in the Art Lovers Australia 2020 Art Prize.
Carley Bourne is an emerging artist based in Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Australia. She works from her home studio, close to beautiful Noosa Heads, where she emigrated to over 12 years ago from England. She takes a lot of her inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding her or from the tropical coastal lifestyle.
As a mostly self taught artist, she has a free, fanciful and intuitive way of letting her artistic visions flow. Her love for the natural world, flora, fauna and landscapes excites her artistic imagination. She has an interest and love for interior design, interior decorations and styles, for which bodes well with her work and perfecting the perfect artwork to suit.
She produces unique, abstract impressions, full of colour, life, forms and marks. Mainly working with Acrylics on canvas, in her distinctive style, to create original pieces of art.
