About Ainslie Gilles-Patel

A highly creative person by nature, being an artist was inevitable for me. I believe my artistic style is instantly recognisable, highly unique, beautiful and powerful. As a spiritual person, I imbue my art with more than just art theory and paint- it is this that my domestic and international buyers, collectors and fans of my work connect with and are ‘drawn’ to. I love mixed media (why use only one when I can use them all, I say!) and creating contemporary equine art is my calling.

I live in the hills in Adelaide, working out of my home studio, The Shed, because, well, it’s a huge shed! I proudly sell/ship my original art within Australia and worldwide. On any given day, you will find me in The Shed, my music blaring, singing whilst I happily create magic for my heart, soul and self-therapy!
